hey guys.... This is a steal! I have this on my car and noticed a major reduction in lag time on my acceleration/gas pedal feel. Overall had a slight improvement but it was worth it alone for the reduction in pedal lag. I bought mine here second hand too. The regular price for this is a bit steep but getting it for $280 is a great deal. Enjoy....

No longer have a gas card at my new sales job, and I'll be driving a ton (Sedan). Didn't notice increased gas mileage with Hypertech, and requires premium fuel. Had it on the car for about 18 months. Loved the 'Throttle Restriction off' feature, and that it had a program to pair with a short ram or cold air intake.

Hope this helps!

All our cars require premium fuel regardless are you going to be using unleaded?

I've been getting away with regular on the sedan. No drop off in Gas Mileage that I can detect.

Premium gas has a higher octane number, that is higher resistance to detonation, this is what is needed to avoid knock/detonation because our engine are running a higher 11 to 1 compression. You may not notice any problems and you may not have caused any damage but for the safety of your engine.... spend the extra few $$ at the pump. It is important!

Something to keep in mind. I'll have to consider going back to premium especially with gas prices where they are. Thanks!

Our modern engines are designed for premium. What Dalton91 said is correct. The computer will compensate for poor gas by firing the spark plug earlier to avoid knocking but the engine is not running at optimal conditions and it will eventually wear down on the parts.
