Why do they look so odd in the picture? Have they ever been installed? I'm interested. Just a little hesitant because of how they look.

I was thinking the same thing. I am not familiar with how the come "new", so I didn't say anything. With that being said, they definitely appear used or wrinkled in some way that would be noticeable after installation. It would be good to clear this up this confusion OP.

The person that makes them, Blue Batmobile, sends them in a round tube; which means the are rolled up when shipped. The pictures above are me unrolling them so you can see what they look like.

The vinyl itself is still stuck to the backing so nothing has peeled off. There are no "creases" so I don't foresee any problems when being installed.

Don't know why I didn't see an email for your original reply. I'm going to see if I can find some pictures of what they look like on a car before I make my decision. I've used BlueBat overlays on two previous cars so I'm familiar with them. I just don't know what it looks like.
