This is off the Uprev website.... It clearly states non-transferable.... I've been gearing up for my tune so I have been doing the research.

 

I don't see anywhere it says it's non-transferable, maybe you misunderstood. License is attached the cable and can be sold many time as you want, however you do need to take the license off your vehicle before it's sold. On the other hand, flash can't be transferred to other car as the tuning parameters are unique.

alanz is correct. As long as he removes the license from his ECU, another person can buy the cable and flash their ECU with it. It can't be transferred to another vehicle at the same time it's on his. In other words, it can't be used on multiple vehicles simultaneously. I know this because I purchased a used one and it worked on my car. I subsequently sold it to a third person.

Can this cable be used for forced induction applications?

 

Uprev is the only tuning application for Infiniti. With the license and cable, you just need to find the right tuner for your FI.

 

I'm pretty sure there's Ecutek also.

 

Ecutek doesn't seem too promising. I don't see they mention the support of Infiniti.
