I decided to step up to the JL Audio W7 for my Sub driver. So the enclosure and sub are for sale. If you’ve been following my thread in the V36 Audio section on G35Driver.com, you know I’ve only had the sub for a few months. I was one of the first people on the boards to get this new 2nd Gen Sedan enclosure when it was released in June.
The sub has been properly broken in and has never been overpowered even when driven by the 1000/1 amp. Please see my install thread for details:

The sub looks perfect with no nicks or scratches. Because the trunk cover fits snug against the enclosure when the trunk is closed, the top of the enclosure does show a spot where it meets with the trunk cover. The top of the enclosure can be seen in the first picture. Obviously, this does not adversely affect the sub’s operation. If anything, it helps keep some of the trunk rattling at bay since the trunk lid closes tighter against the enclosure.
The enclosure includes the classic style grille. Original price was $360 for enclosure and grille with a good waiting period while the enclosure was being made. I believe there is currently a group purchase in the works for this enclosure on these forums. Here’s your chance to grab one with no waiting. The sub goes for about $330 on eBay. I can include the original JL Audio box with a matching serial number.
I am asking $600 for the combo. Although no reasonable offer will be refused, please don’t lowball me.
I would prefer not to ship as it may get expensive. If there isn’t much local interest however, I may be open to the shipping option if the buyer chooses to cover the expenses.
I frequently travel from south central PA to NYC and would be glad to meet anyone almost anywhere along the I-81/I-78 route between PA NJ or NY on certain weekends. I can also head south to meet if you’re in the DC or Baltimore area if enough notice is given ahead of time.

Sorry, the enclosure/sub combo does not come with an amp. I will be open to shipping and separating the box from the sub if no interest is shown in the majority of the Mid Atlantic after a while.

 

IM sure this is a dumb question, but is there any difference in the shape of the inner trunk where the box mounts...between a sedan -vs- a coupe?

 

Yes, unfortunately for me there is. Otherwise all you coupe people would be potential buyers for this. Not a dumb question at all.
