There's a number of folks in my area who would call that perfect.

Just add some hydraulics, a little side to side action, and you'll be good to go! lol

On behalf of all those, including myself, who have had a flying pebble or rock cause a cracked or scratched windshield after following someone whose tires stuck out beyond their wheel well, I say, in consideration of others, it’s a bad idea, if not illegal. Perhaps there’s some sort of flap that can prevent these pebbles from flying back off a tire, but then your prized G may look like a truck.

I am aware of your aversion to any modification and frankly the 'stanced' look is not my cup of tea. In order to circumvent any myocardial infarction please take note that the wheels are simply sitting in front of my stock wheels.

Well, that’s a relief, as it didn’t look that way to me. And for the record, I am not opposed to all mods, only illegal ones that jeopardize road safety. I would like to think you agree with that.

I have trouble believing that he actually took that post seriously. Especially seeing as how the entire wheel is outside the fender by quite a bit and you can see the OEM wheels behind the spokes. Quite clearly it was done for comedic effect. And very effectively I might add. I actually lol'd.

Thanks for the explanation, but I must be honest. I saw the photo as a set of tires sticking beyond the wheel well. Now I don’t mind the ribbing for my error, but I wonder if there’s anyone else around here who is willing to admit they first saw it the same way I did. Anyone?
