Finding the right wheel combo for a blueslate is a pain in the rear!

I picked up a used blueslate sedan and thought I had my theme all figured out, black and chrome. I've had some happy tuning experiences in the past my G's (blacktastic in photo section) but this color and the fact there are 4 doors is throwing me off my game. I started easy with 20% tint all around and doing my own midnight grille, then throwing on some tanabe nf210 springs for a slight drop with a comfortable ride. I knew the 17's had to go, but I couldn't go 20's with the roads in the DC area, and 19's are pricey when it comes to rubber. I went with 18's, but the black and machined look just doesn't sit right with me. I'm not sure if it's the wheels, or the fact that they are only 18's. I think it the black on the wheels. I'm thinking I should have gone with a silver or gunmetal wheel. What is your opinion?
grille is done

tint is done, without tanabe springs, on stock wheels

tint, grille, tanabe springs and aftermarket 18's with stock infiniti sport 18 inch rubber.



added some mild thump with a jl audio high output w3v3 8inch woofer

the offsets seem a little conservative for my liking, it would look great with some spacers and a mild drop! and with blueslate, you cant go wrong with that wheel combo. great choice!
