Hey guys just recently traded in my 335i for a 2010 g37s. Modded the 335i a little too much. Told myself I wouldnt do anything to the g37 but that lasted a week. Loving this car more and more every day. Thought I'd share some pictures.

I'm also own a S2000 and one of the poster's on the site had a BMW diesel he also got rid of in the past week. He said that he loved the car, but he was becomming too familair with the mechanics at the dealership. It was "swell when it was well," but it was too often in need of repair. Congrats on your new G, it looks great!

I have a question for you!

Why did you change from BMW to an Infiniti?

Cause there are friends at work who are hate Infiniti as being low quality and the materials used to make the car are cheap.

I'm not fighting Infiniti. Cause I already have one and I love it.

I just want to know what made you jump from the top to the lower class as my friends call it.

I honestly don't like BMWs...

 

As a BMW owner and old Infiniti owner, I wouldnt say Inifnitis are low quality. There are aspects where BMWs use higher quality materials ie leather, interior materials(dash). IMO BMW is a more solid car but I wouldnt say Inifnitis and low quality by any aspect.

Your friends are crazy man. They are in the same class both pricing and performance.

 

I really like BMW. The 335i out performs our car and I would love to be able to afford a new M3 or M5. I just could not justify spending $50,000 on a used M3. I definitely think that BMW over prices their vehicles. And I definitely agree that they are more likely to be in the shop than our cars. With all of that being said I love my car. It was a great decision. Congrats on your purchase and welcome.

Congrats! My wife's '11 335i sedan is gone the second the warranty expires...

 

Yup that was exactly my case but I never took it to the dealer I had no warranty I paid for all the repairs.
i needed something reliable and close to everything the BMW gave me. The materials on the Infiniti are surprisingly good it's not BMW feel but they're a lot better than my 08 civic si. The g is slower than the 335. The 335 kicked you back in your seat, but the g has better throttle response.

thanks! I actually considered trading to the m3 cause I hear its more reliable than a 335i but I can't see myself dding it.

Thanks ya if it were me I'd get rid of it when it expires. Even though your engine is the n55 and I hear those should hold up a little better
