Buying knockoffs is why this platform doesn't get any attention from aero manufacturers.
Who freaking cares if he wanted to do the replica route? Is his car. It looks good. He seems to like it. The majority of people posting in this thread seem to like it.

Quit trying to turn this discussion into another replica vs. authentic topic.

Here the story as to why I didn’t get the authentic top secret kit.

When I purchased my car in 09 I was debating whether or not to get the Infiniti G35 used from the dealership and use the left over money to modify the car. I liked the G35 look more then the G37. After test driving the G37 it started to grow on me. I decided to get the awd because I knew one day someone would make a forced induction for the awd sooner or later. I need the traction with the horsepower. I also knew that I would not have a manual transmission. As a result it wouldn’t be that much fun to drive.
The first time I saw JR widebody G37 I fell in love with that car. I love the way it looked: so aggressive and the TT setup.
That's when I started to look for my bodykit and to try to get the same one as JR. I found out unfortunately that his kit was custom made. So I started to look for a different option. Then I saw Ken's top secret bodykit. I noticed it was nice and that it had a clean line to the kit. I searched for other kits and found nothing. Everybody was rocking the oem sport bumper. So I decided to get the top secret kit. I called Ken at the dealership where he works in Houston to try to order one. He said it was sold out and was going to be on back order. I asked Ken how long? He said he didnt know. I then decided to look for another shop or store that could get the TS kit and found Bulletproof Automotive. I called and talked to them and they told me the same thing. It’s on back order. I was thinking this may hold me back and would eliminate my chances for the car show.
Soon after, AIT came out with their knock off TS kit. I hesitated to buy it. So I made up my mind that this project was going to be all CUSTOM as much as possible. I knew a lot of people were going to try the JDM route or theme. I had to be different for the car show to get more points.
You did your homework Terrorific35 on the wheels. If you think I can afford these wheels don’t you think that I can afford the authentic top secret bodykit. We both know this is nothing compared to what is invested in the Twin Supercharger for the awd from GTM. Talking about this project is just the icing on the cake, not even close to the cherry when I am done. I am still debating to do a custom widebody on this knock off top secret bodykit in part 3. I can promise this. It is not my ultimate project. My next car will be and I will make sure it’s all Rare JDM. But for now it’s not JDM YO. It’s all CUSTOM YO!

Looks good man. I like all the hints of carbon fiber in there. Wheels are sick!

The front grill is painted in gloss black and the gap between the hood and bumper will be fix.
