Hey guys, just wanted to share some pics after washing my G in this beautiful Memorial Day

It looks pretty good but during the wash I could see how bad it needs a real good detail wax.

What did you use to clean? I you should use a sheepskin mitt to wash. It reduces swirls. I got mine from detailed image.

Looks great - however like SRG said, you have some swirls. They are easily noticed on black cars and especially the G. You should search the threads about detailing and check out detailed image online to learn about polishing.

By using a ceramic polish and the proper tools you can get the swirl marks out of the clear coat and then seal the paint or wax it. Good luck!

Thanks guys, as far as the swirls it doesn't look that bad but Im not even going to attempt to take care of them myself at this time. I think I need to have a "professional' take care of them....I've waxed a car before but I think it needs a little more than that.

Just wondering if it would be worth buying the polishing kit or like I said just let a pro to do the job.

The stuff is about ~$275 and also need to learn how to use it.......how many times would I use it ?

Thanks for the input.
