Sorry for starting this thread man.... I didn't intend it to be a flame thread. I always check out Canibeat and other sites and its just nice to see G37's finally getting some photo love.
I'm pretty sure burned and banged up fenders wasn't the look you're going for on your brand new G. Good luck with the repairs.
Haha its alright man there will always be people who hate it or love it. But yea it was meant to be banged up or burned up but it happens. I was trying to do something different and rushed it at the same time. But it will get fixed and now i know what i need to do. Right now i raised the car about half an inch so that the rim will stops denting the fender in. And i also pull the fender back to it shape with it still being waving and put some touch up paint for now. which makes it not look bad from far away haha. but yea i'm planning on getting it fix within the next couple weeks. Yea it looked super nice before heading out to the show and then on the way we hit a big dip on i-30 here in dallas and my friend called me saying my fender was smoking. So we all pulled over and did the best we could to fix it just to make it there. cause we all work so hard to prepare for the show and we didn't want on little thing to stop us from showing.
He definitely does. He's using UAS on OEM struts still and is on the search for some coils to switch out with so he can lay frame.
That explains it, cuz ive got stock side skirts and can just about bottom those out, i know if i went aftermarket skirts i could sit them on the ground but im selling the car and the setup...
IMO the hellaflush crowd is younger people, like with the g35s and 350z people. In a bit when the g37 costs less I guarantee you will see a bunch of people running low offsets.

We were at a show here in TX this past Sunday and after looking at some of the cars that entered and that people were proud of, we came to the determination that the G is currently transforming into the new Civic. Pretty sad.
I have been seeing more and more of this over the years especially when I am up in Dallas. Thats why I am not really surprised when I see this, there are a lot of cars like this this driving around but they dont come on the forums.

The G can only become more and more affordable..

im going to start guessing how u came to that conclusion. it is because of the amount of replica parts there are for them, the amount of cast wheels trying to be passed off as forged(like rota), the amount of ppl more concerned about lights than performance......

when there is a market for something, there WILL be replicas. It's the only natural order of things. The world has always worked like this.
that's why we need to learn, this is it, fuck it, it is what it is.

Bingo. You win. Be watching the mail for your prize package. A set of fluorescent lime green Varstoens with fake TE37 stickers on them (a $217 value), your coupon for a FREE paint job from Maaco (a $75 value), and a GTR body kit molded from used bubble gum (no monetary value becasue the gum was scraped up from the parking lot and by the looks and fitment of the parts, there was no actual skilled labor involved in it's manufacture).
I'm not so sure about that. I go to shows all over Texas. I know of guys with very nicely modded cars in Dallas. Some of the G35 guys really have it going on. I'm not so sure about the G37 guys because I don't know any of them and have not seen any of them at shows (I always seem to miss the Dallas shows).
Untrue, actually. My friend Rob's candy red Vortech G35 from DFW. This car took first place Infiniti at Wek'Fest. And it isn't just a hardparker either. I mean, who tracks with candy paint?!
where are you from? dont mean any disrespect but dallas had plenty of real performance......MOST people who are focused on performance arent too concerned with fitment which is why you didnt see much at a show that is all about being flush and fitted. just sayin
