Up Close & Personal w/ The 2011 xS Coupe - PICS (Fogs & Headlights)
We had a customer with a 2011 xS come by today to get some work done so we got a chance to look at the foglights and the "facelifted" headlights.
We dropped the bumper to remove the headlights, and here's the windshield washer tank, notice the indentation for the fog lights. As you can see the foglight sits within the recessed bumper made specifically for the foglight, and I'm sure the 2011 Journey bumper is the same, so retrofitting those foglights into the 2010 bumper doesn't seem worth it unless you take time to make some custom brackets.

Honestly idk why everyone is trying to use the 2011 fogs, just purchase the 11 windshield tank, and pick up a set of projector fogs from ebay, swap it to a clear lens and throw in a HID kit. It'll be easier to mount it to the grille too. Pick up a pair of 2011 rings and secure it to the grille.
Here's some differences with the headlights: Seeing the pictures of the '11 online, it looked like they kept the same headlights just changed the inside housing to black chrome. After opening up the headlights, what used to be the foglight is now just a parking light bowl. They kept the same shape, put a bigger reflector cone to cover up hole where the old 194 bulb used to be, and replaced the h1 foglight bracket with a 194 slot.
The housing is obviously black chrome, looks good but not with the regular chrome turn signal.

Oh and what the hell Infiniti !!! They need to stop putting their cars on stilts ! I feel like every year they get higher and higher, that car needs major slammage, in which case I photoshopped the drop in all the pics, otherwise I feel like it ruins the pictures.
Here's what we did, customer chose:
Getting a few more things done next week.
