who says cheap wheel looks bad?

just about an year ago i bought unkown brand company(hp design) wheel for $2000 + tires and it only gave me so much of a headache from seeing the rock chips and curb rashes. after winter passes by, passenger wheel were cracked from the pot holes. then i realized spending over $1500 on wheel isnt really worth it. so i went with XXR wheels. (I was really close to get Volk GT-C in 20'' but decide to get cheaper wheels.) anyway enough with my boring story..
here is the pictures, btw new Sony NEX-3 rocks.. good stuff

sorry for the boring pictures, noobie here with dslr.

cheap wheels are heavier than top brand wheels. put those wheels next to volks and you will be able to tell the difference right away. not saying your wheels look bad, but there not great either.

Looks nice, like the red nuts. You might want to see how 38psi feels, a little more low profile protection if you have bad roads.

only 27.2 lbs tho. But honestly, do you race or compete in tracks? That few tens of pound matters so much?

i do not track my car and the weight was not a huge factor for me, although I can definitely feel the difference in driving with heavy wheels and light wheels. Expensive wheels are usually forged, 2 or 3 piece wheels. I went with volks mainly for strength and the style wheel you get from a 2 piece. the one thing I would change with your wheel is to switch to a shorter valve stem.

Should have put $3500 towards forged wheels in the first place. lol

The XXR looks good on your car though. But it WILL get tons of rock chips as long as your drive it. It WILL get curb rashes if you're careless. and it WILL probably crack when you hit a pothole.

Exactly why i bought cheapo wheels. Prlly going to use the money towards the performance mod to make up for the extra pounds that i didnt save in wheels.

LOL - Says the guy who got volks with tires for probably what this guy spent on XXR's...

I like em OP.. And ALL wheels forged or not will get rock chips, will get curbed when you hit the curb, and could crack if you hit a pot hole.. (Might just be a little easier to crack cheaper wheels)..

Do you have any more pix??

I'm not really concerned with the quality of the pix, i just wanted to see like how the stance looked, etc.. I can kinda see it in these but figured i'd ask if you had anymore..

No worries if not..
