Shoulda bought the x (snow photos)

We just got about 30" of snow in Northern VA... woulda been fun to have the G37x as I might have been able to take it for a spin after digging out...

I dug out here in MD (~30" as well), but didn't dare move the car onto our street since it was plowed so bad. It would've been nice to hit some lots and streets with the X, but I'm willing to bet most places were pretty nasty and I would get stuck.

How does your x handle in the snow? I have the non-sport and the all season tires are still pretty crappy in the snow. Does the x have the dunlops or something else?

We got about 26" here in King of Prussia, PA (20 minutes West of Philly). I was out and about today and the roads were pretty well but was dealing with maybe 6" to 8" drifts and some roads that were still covered with a few inches as the plows caught up. No problems with my G37xS. The Dunlop Sport Maxx A/S tires do a pretty good job.

Plus that "Snow" button is magic

Nah my G37x is a non-sport with the 17s so it comes with the Goodyear RS-As. I haven't taken the car out since the crazy storm, but traveled the other weekend when it snowed 6" on I-95 and it handled pretty well considering the all season tires. You just have to remind yourself that it's still a sedan with all seasons and to drive it cautiously. I have a set of older 17" Blizzacks that should fit the car in the garage from my last car, but haven't had a chance to put them on.

It's snowing here in Denver, CO today. It'll last through tomorrow and then be heading east. BTW- the G37xS gets through most storms just fine with the Dunlop Sport Maxx tires, but can get highcentered if the snow is deep, fresh and not packed down.

the snow mode is awesome. i dont know if it's a placebo, but turning it on gave me tons of confidence.
