Photoshoot with new Chikara LS1 Wheels sponsored by 88 Rotors
ya... well no family was following me...... and any wheel with a lot of force would do the exact samething if it hit the wall like my car did.... and yes i HIT A WALL ..... NO this didnt happen while just "driving and hit and oil slick and everything just magically snapped..." i wasnt really paying attention and just lost control... yeap **** happens and this has nothing to do with the quality of Chikara wheels if you think your volks can withstand that force hit a wall and find out! trust me i've had 3piece wheels before (iforged) and wheels are wheels to me... doesnt matter if i payed 5k or if i pay 1k if they look good i buy them...but like i said **** happens and everything happens for a reason so looks like i get to have another car

As a team member and a friend, your a good guy and I respect you to the fullest. As a person I keep it real, so as for your wheels, they svck ball sack and is cheap quality, I never seen a wheel that broke like that regardless of how the impact is. But all with respect I'm glad you're still here and Geooh's right that's all that matters.

I'm sure he wasn't driving carefully in the rain if he wasn't speeding. how the hell would he hit the side of the wheel and the it will get crushed...
I really haven't seen anything like this before...

Well hes honest, he was driving careful man, thats fact. It was just raining really hard and he lost control and got in a car accident, it happened really fast. But the quality of the rim shows after the accident has happened.
Cast rims can be perfectly strong. It just depends on how they're made.
Street cars have to deal with potholes. Track cars don't.
I can pull out some volk pictures if you like. Buddy slammed into a wall in the rain at uh... highway speeds.

wheels look intact tho mike! haha
The thing is brotha, that's not true, all wheels will damage when hitting the wall yes but the quality will show from the impact, my meaning is you can hit the wall at the same speed, if you had a different wheel, IMO it woul'dve held up better than the Chiquitos, if anything it'll bend and crack, not break. Chikaras are cheap wheels man, get it straight, its liek 2+2 = 4 and u wanna deny it that its 4, homie its 4, not 5, not 6, its 4, aka chiquito svcks, no its not good, no its not ok, no its no no no no it svcks bro.
Please dont talk the 1k-5k if it looks good u buy them, that embarrasses us man, cause the whole team stands next 2 buying expensive products, we make fun of people that talk like that on g35driver WE'RE known as that, the guys that buy stupid arc, top-notch, high-priced stuff for nothing lol. Those who have cheaper wheels on our team up to date, u ask them do they like it they say fawwwk no i want works, volks, etc etc. I know your more a newer member but remember Im NOT critizing you, I'm just doing what I do for what people LOVE me for, keeping it real even in public with my own members, got much respect for u man, aint no puny wheels will change our relationship hahaa.
I know rims too, i went through 4 sets of rims on my g35 in less than 2 years and going to 3 sets of rims on myg37 in less than 1 year.

There's no argument, the Chikaras are no different from Tenzo-Rs or Rotas or Axis. In fact I think I rather take Axis over it. Like you know the cheap wheels category, all the brands in there, chiquito is one of them too. The way they make it, it's cheap, uses cheap quality, there-fore it's cheap priced, for people who cannot afford better rims. If it costed more to make, than the price will be more for retail, so simple. I talk to rim companies, vendors, wholesalers, they all said the same thing "dont push those wheels 2c" lol, and the rest that didnt say that said "whats chikaras" LOL and IM KEEPIN IT REAL HOMIES. The truth is if I pushed these I'd personally make some pretty good money off it eh, but I stand next to what my customers buy. People can say damn 2c talking shiet, oh wellz, atleast my shiet is the truth so u can flush it down the toilet with the knowledge and walk out learning something refreshing
I'm the realest salesman and car enthusiast ull meet, i wont tell u the product is eh and i dont like it, ill tell u mother fvck that product and its makers and its authorized dealers

LMAO....your evo looked so OEM 2C, sorry.
Anyway, 1k vs 4k wheels. The difference isn't price. It's the quality. Maybe not with all wheels, but Work, Volk, Enkei, 5Zigen, and various other well known companies have put R&D and money into their products.
I have Work Wheels and you would not believe what they have been through. You know those crazy downtown LA potholes? I had 225/35's on a 10.5" wheel, that's an EXTREME stretch, I could fit my finger between the lip and the tire, most people have that kinda gap between the fender and tire lol.
I have survived every single pothole, no matter how bad and how hard I've gone over them. Work barrels are SOLID. Here's the thing, my OEM '89 Accord hub caps were super strong. I drove STRAIGHT into a 6" curb at 30 mph (not on purpose of course) and NOTHING happened to the wheel.
My point is, quality makes a difference, you can't say it doesn't.... here's another pic to prove.
Remember hogan's supra? This is pretty bad... but the wheels are in tact and not broken.

All I'm trying to get across is that for looks 1k vs 4k is up to the buyer. Quality, well, thats a choice you gotta deal with. Here's another example...as mentioned i've gone over several potholes in my car. With my previous wheels (Moz Tower 5) I had 245/35's on a 8.5 (no stretch), and somehow I ended up with 3 bent lips. There's gotta be an explanation to that....and it is, QUALITY.

It's like 5-Zigen, pretty good rims and affordable. But chiquito wheels, ehh lol.
