AIT | TS Mold | Akebono | Iforged Pictures!

Alright everyone knew I was having brake problems for the last few days. I started monday and finish saturday. I decide to just go back to stock non-s brakes because my brakeline wasn't working.

I decided to just part out my brakes and etc. Throw away my yellow powdercoated caliper unless someone wanted to buy off from me for cheap. It still works except one leaks I believe.

I also decided to buy the stock Akebono BBK in a month again but stock everything. No aftermarket rotors or anything that way I don't run into any problems. I might powdercoat it though after everything is settled

Here are the pictures of my week. Alot of people call me crazy but I just call it determination. Not many 17 year old is willing to DIY for everything. I even DIY for my AIT KIT LMFAO!

My car might look like any other G but it still came along way from this

Before with sanding and putting my front bumper on! I painted the Injen washer fluid so I could take the side faux vent out.

Pictures at Night with everything on before the caliper came off. Yes paint is off lol, It not as bad in daylight but in halogen light you can tell. These were pictures while the brakes were still on. I'm back to Non-S now. Yes the kit fitment was done by myself and a friend at my house with bondo and sanding.

all i gotta say is don't let the brakes take you down like that. look at how much you've done. even guys are much older can't do stuff like diy. they'll prolly **** on their own pants. i say try to finish what you have started.

Looks good. With your black and white theme under the hood, you might want to get rid of the sliver/blue from the GTSpec strut bar. I had Mike do mine in Satin Black so it looks OEM.

Thanks for the word man. I don't know man at this point im really depress about everything.

I left it at a shop today and they will look at it tomorrow to see. I might try the brake thing again in a month but with all stock hoses and everything. No SS lines or none of that.

Yeah hamster, I was going to powdercoat my bracket black but ran out of time cause of my brakes. I will leave the bar chrome though cause I like a little chrome here and there.

I don't think I will paint it like AMP. I kind of like it like this in white. I might just paint the rear black so I can have a valence sort of.

Yeah I was thinking about keeping the rotors and pad. I will see tomorrow after the shop fix my NON-S. If they fix it then I will try again with new caliper but this time with stock Type S hoses and etc. No more SS line for me. I rather have look and function then performance from SS line. Goodridge scar me for life.

jq,
u have 3 good yellow calipers, new pads and new rotors. why buy all new oem pads, rotors and 4 more calipers.

just ship the unpowdercoated caliper to mike and buy oem brake lines to finish it off......... makes sense, right??

alot cheaper than me hahaha. I bought my car as a journey so doing the sports conversion and painting cost alot alone. I honestly can say I could have bought a TT and have it installed already from stock.

Nogood I have no clue man. I will figure it out tomorrow lol.

My G has come a long way now that I look at old picture. Makes me pretty happy
