it'll go through.. a cop reviews all the submissions by the system and determines whether a ticket is warranted.. it all depends if your front tires were past the limit/crosswalk line before the millisecond the light hit red.. they have video n pics taken at the instant light hits red as evidence if you go to court to contest it if u get a ticket.. i know from experience..

ok, seriously.. there's only so much ANYONE can do with a dinky point and shoot.. it comes down to physics.. small sensor, low poor light sensitivity compared to larger sensor APS-C/full frame SLR's.. if people were mainly bagging on the angles etc that make pics bad then alright.. that's just a crappy photographer.. a pro series SLR wouldn't have made a diff in the person's hands other than being clearer/having more light etc.. still be poor composition..

but if it's mainly the quality of the pics bein called crappy due in considerable part of the camera's limits then eh.. most lil point n shoot should not even be shooting at ISO 400.. the manufacturers made 1600 ISO nowadays as advertising HYPE to fool your average consumer..

with what Geoh had, without a tripod there's nothing he could do as far as better exposure etc.. there's no way he, I, or some pro of pros hand holds for the multi-second shots that would have been necessary to properly expose the cars in that ambient light..

off topic.. but when am i not?..

but here's somethin i took Sat night.. =P

you can click it if you wanna see a few others..

that was basically borderline not-recommended hand-holdable either, SLR or not.. 25-30 second exposure =P would still be 3/4-1 sec with cranked SLR ISO..
