I don't get what all the fuss is about. The OP got a brand new ride, with 0 miles and all the features he was lacking before. they are transferring all of his mod on top of that. I say congrats and hurry up with the pix!

I think a lot of people are missing the point, I barely paid anything, had my old car FULLY paid off at market value, they gave me 31,xxx for an 08 with 11,xxx miles..... so how many of you wouldnt take a BRAND NEW CAR, with 5k more in options (nav, kick plates, new paint (you know the 08 paint is crap and swrily), 4was, AND their taking all my aftermarket parts off for FREE. The best part is I now have a payment lower than what my 08 was with less features, because I bought early when there was no deals.

Most of you who bought the first month with 6-700 dollar payments are paying more than me even with me dumping my 08 after a year, it's okay, try youre local dealership maybe they'll do the same!

Happy Mothers Day guys.

i knew that the 2008 paint was bad but is it really as bad as you're making it out to be in this post? if you wax, clay bar, and clear bra a 2008 OB G37, won't the paint last a long time? i don't own a g37 right now but i was planning to get a used 2008 G37 OB and baby the car in terms of paint care.

has there been documented evidence that the paint issues have been resolved in the 2009 G37? what exactly did they do differently in the 09 paint?

if anyone can answer this, i'd greatly appreciate it

I don't know... I had an 06 6MT black, and it held up A LOT better than my 08! I don't know what they did to the paint, I will call later and ask, but they have made it an issue that they corrected it. I think ALL 08 owners should get free paint jobs since Infiniti admitted it was so "soft"

I should have got Nav, and black Interior in the first place, but I bought it a few weeks after they came out, and options/deals were limited since it was a brand new platform!

And for the record..... I looked into other cars, wasn't really feeling the 370z, and the 2010 Camaro SS is very hard to find in my area.... I guess it just gives me something to look forward to next year.

And for those keeping record this is my 3rd G37s............ so they were very kind in with my numbers, like I said I have more options and pay less than my 08, I couldn't be happier. Now just waiting on them to give me all my after market parts back!
