bboysteele mentioned on the COBB thread that its possible to send a data log of your car with the mods to Cobb so they can creat you a custom map. The Magden computer comes with a 1gig memory stick that you can use to data log.

I think thats a cool idea from Cobb, Once you get your custom map from Cobb and load via Access port on your ecu, you can actually data log your car again and see exactly what was changed as far as you AFR, TIMING and Throttle position.

Since we are getting our Magden Computer this week, I guess i can now bother Cobb on speeding the process for the AP.

Hey Lou, can you get the Magden guy to put a complete list of the graph/monitor/sensor list that is available for the G37? A list of what it can monitor out of the box and any additional sensors that can be bought to increase the functionality of the system would be great to list or a link to a section on their site would be nice. Also, are they going to be any special skins or themes available that we can download. A MyG37 or Ampd skin/theme would be cool. Or a special "Man of Steele" skin/theme for all the ladies.

The list of channels that are available from the G37 directly through the OBD-II bort with no extra sensors is:
RPM
IAT (Intake Air Temp)
ECT (Engine Cooltant Temp)
TPS (Throttle Position)
BAT (Battery voltage)
BARO (Barometric pressure)
MAF (Mass Air Flow)
Ignition
Fuel level
Speed
Lambda (wideband)
Dynamic HP
Dynamic Torque
Current Gear position
Longitudinal g-force
MPG

With the Zeitronix Zt-2 upgrade (available in a few weeks), you can install the following sensors in your engine and have their data displayed together with the ECU channels above:

EGT (Exhaust Gas Temp - 1 channel)

Wideband lambda (Not really needed since it is already available from the ECU)

Boost.

Turbo speed.

Pressure: Can measure any fluid pressure or air pressure/vacuum depending on sensor used.

Temperature: Can measure any fluid or gas temp (except exhaust) depending on the sensor used.

The list above is subject to modifications. If you miss something, please tell us what you want and we'll take it into consideration.

We will support a number of industry standard pressure and thermistor sensors that can be purchased either from us or at your local shop.

/Magnus F.
