The readings are exactly what is reported by the ECU, so you see what the ECU sees.

It's pretty much plug and play. My on-the-fly G37 install at HIN consisted of the following steps.

1) Plug the M.1 into the composite video input (in the center console), the trackball, the cigarette lighter and the OBD-II port.

2) Start the engine and bring up aux video input to display the M.1 video signal.

3) In the vehicle setup menu on the M.1, select the G37.

4) In the screen setup menu on the M.1, select TV narrow screen 2. (I think this mode gave the best image.)

5) Setup the layout, skin, colors and gauges you want to display.

Done.

The only advice I have is to not use a monster composite video cable since the material of collar that goes around the RCA connector is too thick to fit in the M.1. Use an RCA cable with a thin walled collar and basic shielding for the wires. There is no distinguishable image quality difference given the hardware used in the G37 and the 480 lines the M.1 outputs.

I'm interested in getting one of these.

How long would it take to install one of these?

Yay... Post # 1

That's if you want to leave it sitting out in the open. I'm sure it'll take a bit longer for a stealth install

Its seems to have the same function but i know don't if the Blitz can DATA LOG like the M1 computer. Also, the M1 is expandable up to 32 more sensors

The R-VIT DS is a very nice product, and there is definitely some overlap between our systems. They even do a few things we don't, such as displaying six gauges vs five for the M.1 and allowing you to alter idle mixture.

However, being extremely biased, I'd like to point out the following advantages for the M.1.

1) The M.1 datalogs to a USB stick.
This allows for days of logs to be recorded and you can do an analysis in Excel or a data log tool on your PC or Mac. In comparison, the R-VIT DS does 10 minutes of logging and it seems that you cannot get the data to your PC (or to the Internet).

2) The M.1 gives you power runs.
The result of the power run is a dynamic torque and HP curve that is calculated based on you acceleration and the weight of the vehicle. This allows you to see exactly what results your performance mods are giving you. The precision is good enough to see, for example, if your AC is on or off.

3) For each of the three layouts of the M.1, you can select text and gauge colors.
This allows for a greater detail in your customization.

4) New graphics, functionality and upgrades can be downloaded into the M.1
First out is the Zt-2 sensor package integration from Zeitronix, which will be released in a couple of weeks. We will then follow up with new skins and even the ability to design your own graphics which you can download into your unit. While this is future functionality, it will protect your initial investment in an M.1 since it is expandable with no need to replace any previously bought components.

5) The M.1 connects to composite video, S-Video, VGA and DVI screens.
This lets you upgrade to a higher end screen, such as a daylight readable Lilliput or Xenarc and connect it to the VGA or DVI port for better image quality.
That being said, the G37 composite video screen is actually quite good in comparison to many other built in displays out there.

some datalog files i took during the BBQ.

I did notice a temperature decrease on the INJEN CIA compared to stock airbox.

NOTE, DAHASHI going 125mph and air intake temp was 86 while mine going 67 mph was 84. This was done 10 min apart. I compared the data about the number of minutes after the cars left the parking lot. (millisecond)

Other data recorded:
AIR FUEL RATIO
TROTTLE POSITION
SPEED
RPM
