So check this out...seems all too crazy, but here goes... Today myself and about 7 other friends of mine decide to finally pull the trigger and managed to convince ourselves that skydiving would be a good idea. We book reservations to do so (non-refundable of course) and go about our merry way. I go to a meeting in Sherman Oaks, CA and on the way back, traffic is at a standstill about 2 miles from my house in Camarillo. Coming over the mountain that I have to drive, its hard to see if there are any cars stopped, and since I am familiar with the area, I slow down to avoid any accidents. Sure as ****, everyone is slamming their brakes. I cut left to the emergency lane to avoid the car in front of me, and the car behind me continues going, slamming into the car that was in front of me!! EXTREMELY SCARY, close call, but I got away without a scratch (everyone was okay though). After my heart left my stomach and went back to its place I continued on. Roughly a mile from my house, and further down the grade, I see what all the traffic commotion is about....a small plane crash landed and was upside down just off of the freeway (first pic, but hard to see since my camera phone sux). CRAZY **** considering the just booked skydiving trip....Im thinking it'a a sign as I dont see crach landings everyday. To make the story even better, as Im trying to get a closer look, I see of all things, a brand new red GTR parked right by the wreck. So of course I have to go check it out. To make a long story short, this is an amazing car (as you all likely know) and the guy who had it was given the car by Nissan to write a post for a car magazine...not sure which one though. It was so interesting to see more people looking at the GTR when directly behind us (on the other side of the street) was a plane upside down on its wings!!! So anyways, here are some pics of my crazy *** day that has me convinced that I should have spent the skydiving money on my G rather than gamble with this ****!!

nicee, a red gtr you should have took him can you ride with him for like a block or something.

i would really like to go skydiving. have to do it sometimes this year. enjoy it and hope you land safely.

He was about to give me a ride, but there were so many people coming over that started to ask the same thing that they ruined it for me . Instead, I had asked him pull next to me when we were leaving and launch it. Sounds like a jet!!

As much as an (relatively) affordable sexy performance beast as the GTR is, I simply cannot get over how fugly that grille is. It's hideous on an otherwise perfect car. Bad Nissan, bad!

 

I would probably be to chicken sh** to skydive....call me a scaredy cat but anything that can put my own life in extreme danger i rather just not do.....So who's GTR was that?

 

I might have to trade my G in for a GTR
