because the cat did something inhumane to the G. So its a simple slap on the wrist if the cat walks on the car? Well shouldn't it also be a slap on the wrist if the car "accidentally" drives over the cat. At least the latter was only an accident. Point is its an fing crime for the cat to continuously walk on the car. The car doesn't need any additional *****, its already a ***** magnet as stated above. If the cat wants to continuously act "inhumane" to the G, then I think the driver has all right to act inhumane to the cat. No im not saying to poison the cat, but a few shots from a low powered bb gun will teach it to stay away from the car, its called discipline and u best believe that i have shot my kids a time or two... ok maybe not but u get the idea

Shumby, I own two cats also. I couldn't of said it any better.

It's a car. They get dirty. So what?
Drive a beater if you can't afford a garage.

and to all you amateur "animal control" guys with bb guns you better not get caught in this practice as you will end up in jail.

Yeah, my opinion of a lot of these G owners just went way way down. Killing animals is just stupid talk, no matter what the "offense". Cats walking on a car parked outside... wow.

Park the car indoors or don't bitch about what happens to it outside. It can get hailed on, animals can walk on it, teens can egg it, etc.

IMO parking your car outside states "I don't care that much about it." If you love the car but don't have any place indoors to park it, then I think you bought the car before you were ready for it.

This is like buying a really big boat without being able to get marina space for it and then bitching about your neighbors complaining about it being in your yard. Except worse cuz you want to kill your "neighbors"

/\ I would never, ever, purchase or even lease any nice car if I did not have a garage to park it in...
My 02¢;
People should wait until they have the garage to get the nice car, or suffer the consequences...

Dang this thread really came alive. Hey Chi-town, if that comment "Drive a beater if you can't afford a garage" is directed toward me then that is just idiotic. Same goes for you mal TX and DGCIALP. I CAN afford a place with a garage but I choose to wait until I move. Would it really make sense to sign a lease to a place or buy a house and move when you place to move to another state in August? It doesn't to me. And I really don't have a problem with the cat getting on my car BUT this has only happened after I clean my car. As I put in another post yesterday, I got my car detailed yesterday. Well I went out to get in my car to go to church and there were tracks on the top of my car. The tracks faded due to the detail that was done yesterday.

Again my complaint is that it has only happened after I wash the car. I live in an apartment with covered parking and there is one car to the right of me and a line of them to the left of me. I have only seen the cat tracks on my car. Must be due to the smooth lines on the G where as the other cars are more box like. As long as the car is not clawing my car I am not going to get mad. I wouldn't want to hurt the cat because that would be wrong. The owner of the cat really needs to keep their cat inside though. The last I heard, we have a leash law in the Springs and that applies to cats as well.

I really need to buy some of that quick detail stuff that I can spray on and wipe off....maybe the cat is hinting to that?

I have the solution for it, It's from nissan.

Have any of you seen the nissan altima commercial, a cat sits on the trunk and the owner comes out the house with a bear costume and chases the cat away.

really funny stuff
