Blue Slate at the Park

Just thought I would post some pics of my blue slate journey with premium package. Took delivery on 01/29/08 and decided to take her out yesterday for a mini photo shoot. There are some pinstripes on it that I'm not too fond of, but I got a pretty good deal on a lease, so I decided to go for it. Looks better in person that in pictures.

This is a great site... I've learned so much from here (even found out I had VPP from reading the threads). Keep up the good work guys!

Nice!!! Yes, I'd lose the pinstripes. Doesn't do anything for the car.

I agree this is a great forum. Congrats on your new car!! I hate to say it, but I hate the pinstripes. The dealer can remove for you.

The pics in the park are very nice.

Thanks... I tried to get them removed, but unfortunately they are painted on Not sure what else can be done besides getting a paint job.

It was a demo/showroom model. I noticed that they had them on several of the other models as well. But I did some searching online and found out that Easy-Off oven cleaner may do the trick. If I feel ballsy enough, I will attempt to remove them.

Easy Off?? Girl, that is a little scary. I don't know if I could ever get that ballsy. haha I'm sure someone on here will have some input on painted pinstripes. Actually, mine were painted on too and the dealer removed them on my other car.

Ha! I know, it is scary. That's why I'm not too sure about it. I'm gonna try a little test patch first by the door jam and see what happens. Do you know what the dealer used to remove yours?

axylus, are you in graphic design? I like your logo much better than the current one. I have a sign company I run as a side business. I've thought about trying to redesign the logo myself a few times.
