Ugh, its terrible. You are going to get a taste of how dumb CA smog law is. I have the full Gen1 FI exhaust package (uses the old berks), so I have to swap out my HFCs every time I smog. I have a hookup that does it for way less than what its worth. He'll swap out HFCs, swap in stock cats, then swap the HFCs back for under 200. Some smog places are pretty cool about it, but usually you gotta know somebody. I used to know a place like that, but the guy moved
Sent ya a PM. I think I may have had to go through STAR when I came off active duty; had the car registered in florida while I was there. Truth be told, the guy turned a blind eye to all the visual stuff. Don't have his contact info, but I sent ya the phone number for the swap work.
