What do you guys think of the price and performance of this intake?

Also, would I have any problems with the cops if I do get asked to pop open my hood? Also, is this hard to install? Thanks in advance!

I can get you the black or polished kit for $360 shipped or the black nickel chrome kit for $400 shipped.

Thanks,
Brett

It all depends on the citing officer to be honest. Any illegal modifications can cause problems and if you're worried about that I suggest you get the STILLEN gen 1,2 or 3 because their intake system just got approved for CARB which means it's 50 state legal.

Are you joking?? I've never heard of cop asking somebody to "pop their hood".. What state do you live in??

I live in NY with some pretty strict state/city rules, I have those intakes (love em) and never had any complaints.

He's not joking! It actually happened to me once just because I had an exhaust. After I was pulled over I was asked to pop the hood. The officer took a good few minutes going through the car. Better believe they'll do that here. He's in California btw and we have the strictest regulations in the whole US

It is bad out here, but also depends on the cops. I got pulled over doing about 75 in a 40 I have straight pipes and various other mods. I have some track stickers on my car and the cop happened to be a part of HOD lol. no ticket :0 first one I ever got out of. As the second poster said, just go with stillen. Gen 2 is very easy to instal but gen3 you would have to remove the bumper.

AFAIK, the R2C intake is not CARB approved.
