Yeah I was only looking for a minimal drop as I don't want to worry about scraping hence why I was thinking Koni's with Swifts.

I have not really found a good coil that runs in the $1500 range based on those that I have talked to. Any thoughts? Also I like the stock ride as it is not that harsh. I know that lowering the car will change that but would like to find something that rides to close as stock as possible.

You could always try and go for a used set. I think there are some stance and bc coils priced around $800ish.

Like kRAM said, people seem pretty happy with stance and BC. There are some boi-racers and track drivers alike that will trash talk coils in the 1500 range, but honestly, for street use 1500-tier coils are fine. I'm just adamant about coils because I did springs with stock shocks and hated it (I considered buying appropriate shocks later, but since I did not like the overly aggro drop, and the cost of shocks would pretty much be on-par with coils, I just bought my cheapo megans). However, if you are ALWAYS going to stick with a specific wheel and tire size, sure you can dial it in with spacers.

Well I eventually am going to go with a square setup (thats the idea anyway) and I have been leaning towards some Tein and possibly edfc compatible. Anyone ever use D2 coils? I want to remove the wheel gaps and thats really it
I am not slamming this thing...its my daily driver so that would be stupid to do. Just want a nice llok when I get wheels and a little stiffer ride

Random Craigslist find. Got these R2C intakes in really rough shape with the previous owner painting them black to hide all the scratches.
Paint was chipping all over so I removed it.

Doesn't look to bad for only $130 and I was never a fan of aftermarket intakes but why not for that price.
I'll probably sand them down and polish to remove the deeper markings but for now I'll leave it.

Tried checking not many people leaving any useful reviews if anything some people claimed they fell apart. I say avoid them but I have no personal experience with them but here are some threads to search over.

Hi all. East Bay here. Just picked up an 09 G37s Sedan 6MT. I had an 05 Coupe 6MT, 07 Sedan 6MT and most recently a 05 FX35 that just left the family. So glad to be back into an 6MT.

She's all stock except for tint. On the mod list is the RJM clutch, coil's, and exhaust. May do some lighting mods. And eventually some wheels. Just bought a fixer upper house so that is taking precedence plus I have a 95 Mustang Cobra project car that needs to be finished. Lots of projects, so little time.

Welcome to the board. Mike in south San Jose here. I had a 98 Mustang Cobra that I sold bone stock to a collector about four years ago. Good luck on the fixer upper. My wife and I started the same way back in '96 and are still working at it.

Awesome. I used to work at a Mustang/Camaro performance shop in Indy. I've had 6 Mustangs and Cobras in the past. I was wanting to get back into one. Happened to be a co-worker had the 95 Sears Point Cobra pace car. It has been sitting for the last 10 years. Only has 52K miles on it. Was about 60% done making it a race car when he got into racing Miata's. This one was put on the back burner. So I was able to pick up pretty reasonable. Now its just the task but finishing it (and replacing some deteriorated parts).

In it's glory days:
