Taking the G to Lake Tahoe

I'm going to Tahoe in March. Are my stock tires ok for the drive up or do I need snow tires? I might just rent a car haha. Thanks!

^^^ yeah rent car I go to tahoe at least 4 times every winter to snowboard at heavenly I've never taken the g and wouldn't in the winter. If it's not snowing when your going you'd prob be ok but I wouldn't risk it. Rent a 4wd

Do not take your car their! i Live in lake tahoe 4 months out of the year and i dont take my car up their during winter untill about june. the sand and the salt they put on the ground will scratch up your paint. its not worth it.

I'm going in mid-March for a ski trip. We're either taking the GFs car if it's not snowing or renting something AWD if it is. Don't take the G.

I hope that wasn't you going up last Sunday. There was a LP g37 coupe non-sport holding up traffic on my way up. I saw him try to take off from the chain line and he was still spinning the rear.

On the way back home the same G was backing up traffic going through the twisties on the hills.
