Called Leh-shwab (tire shop) for you and they said 250 with warranty .. if that works for u? if not then 80 bucks is a freaken steal from weiboy..

Edited: they called back and said they only install springs bought through them ... that is what their manager will allow.. i laughed.

now ain't that just the shiot....They were the first I called because I get all of my tire stuff done there (in Elk Grove) and they said "nope, we only install it if you buy it from us" They quoted me like $340....for the springs alone....and wanted the $250 more for install. Grand total was like $600+ with tax.

Dude I am sooooo frustrated. I love that Weiboy has that offering, but damn....a round trip to SF isn't easy to accomplish. Maybe I'll roll up the sleeves & go for it.....

I thought for sure I could find a place that knows what's up....and could put it up on the rack, swap it out in about 1.5hrs, and I'd be on my way for like $150

had no idea there were forum rules against that......sorry mods.

got your PM, just might take you up on that. gotta find a way to pinch some pennies since I just dropped a grip on the stainless steel brake lines today...Ouch, that was more than I had anticipated. But I'll be glad I have those on there when I finally get out to Thunderhill after the springs, spacers, sways, and GT-spec bar go on. Perhaps I should be trying to do it all at once?

BTW - when do the NorCal G's head to Thunderhill and/or Infineon for an HPDE? This sedan's no trailer queen.....she gets ridden hard.

LOL - this is a timely thread. I'm also up in Sac town and am looking for a place to drop my car. I'm going to go with an Eibach Pro Kit over my stock 18's. Will pick up some new wheels after the first of the year sometime when I finally figure out which ones I want. Sounds like we need to have a G party in the Bay Area.

Eric, are you in SF downtown, or are you outside of SF?

Tognotti's (El Camino & Fulton Ave) dropped my G on Eibach's on Friday. Bought the springs from DPS at a great OTD shipped price. Tognotti's did the install for less than the price of the springs....and they knocked it out in 2hrs.
