Trustworthy Mechanic in Bronx/Lower Westchester, NY

I am the original owner of a 2012 G37S, 4 Door, 6MT, with about 60K. I love it, and I want to keep it forever. I also own a 2014 Subaru Forester XT Touring and a 2021 Subaru Impreza Sport, 5MT.

Until recently, I've been bringing my cars to a local mechanic in lower Westchester who was a bit expensive, but I thought was trustworthy. In 2021 he installed new brake pads and rotors on the Forester. When I brought it in for an inspection earlier this year, he said it needed new brake pads and rotors. Mind you, my wife drives this car like a baby and puts less than 6000 miles per year on the car. When I asked him how is it possible that I needed new brakes and rotors after less than 12000 miles, he stumbled and said that maybe it was because he wasn't using OEM parts and that the calipers may have been sticking to the rotor making them wear out prematurely. This seemed extremely shady, so I have decided to go somewhere else.

Where to go, however, is the question.

So, I am asking anyone if you know of a trustworthy mechanic in either the Bronx or Lower Westchester that knows Infiniti and Subaru, please share their contact information.

Thank you all in advance.
