Well then, by all means ask the Coupe forum if anyone is interested. For a while there, I forgot Connor bought a Coupe.

 

This Days Inn is about 4 miles from the park, and $100 for Saturday Night at Priceline. While just a Days Inn, it's a brand new facility, so probably fine for one overnight.

Just one caveat...and it requires feedback from those attending.


I would like to bring my 13 y/o son and 15 y/o daughter. They both love the G/ect. help with mods and maintenance (good learning for all three of us)...blah, blah, blah.


I expect no less than complete honesty from this group. I have not been to a car meet before (boat meet...yes, many times), would it be appropriate for me to bring them?
Would anyone prefer they not come? I DO NOT want to cramp anyone's style or put a damper on the festivities.


It WILL NOT injure my feelings for the forum or anyone on it if you reply in the negative. I want honest feedback.

don't think I m going to make it after all :\


I just bought a house and my closing date is on the 28th of Aug (fingers crossed) and I ll be moving in. Also there is an outcast garage meet only 30 mins away which I might go to since that drive is a little better than the 4 hour one to PA lol

Based on last year's meet, I see absolutely no reason why not to bring them. As you would expect, everyone there are dudes, however most all of them are just harmless car geeks. This is by no means a Fast & Furious crowd... no one is actually Dominic Toretto. And even if they were, he's a family man after all. Besides, it's looking like a smaller get together this year, dammit.

I'd bring my 15 year old, but truth is she could care less about the cars and would just be rolling her eyes... when they weren't glued to her iphone.

 

I agree, by all means bring your kids if they are into Cars. They will then know that there are others out there who love their G's as much as you. We didn't have alcohol last time and it was a really relaxing environment with other kids that were at the pavilion before we arrived.

The list of attendees sure is shrinking by the day and we might not have that many people show up. We should definitely include coupes by the way.

 

Sad to see such a small turn out for a meet like this. We typically get 50 - 100 cars for the sedan meet we hold here in SoCal (although that includes G35 sedans as well). Wish this was WAY closer to me and I would definitely attend... Maybe if I still lived in Cincinnati. ��
