But now that I think about it, it would be better in an open space like last year where we could eat like under pavilion last year and also have our cars in our sight

How about the possibility of renting a runway? Possibly one from a skydiving school? I saw a post on another forum a couple years back that had suggested something similar to this. If this is an option we would be able to test out some of each other's cars without worrying about a nice park ranger.

It was a split crowd either way. Some where under the pavilion and other around the cars. I'm looking to create a similar atmosphere however the whole park pavilion option is looking slim unless we move to a different weekend, or different state lol.

I'm sure that would come with a rather large cost. I can look into it however.

I'm pretty sure it would be. But I guess depending on pricing, distance for all, if we can get many confirmed and willing to pay for it in advance to reserve I don't see a huge issue of they don't ask for an absurd amount of money.

connoisseurr, I left a message with Raceway Park in Old Bridge, NJ. Not sure if it will be viable but I'll let you know offline if I hear anything from them.

I can bet these guys would want an absurd amount of money since it's a well known often attended 1/4 mile track although they do have a circuit track too!

Anyways this is too close Chris... Lets stick to PA as middle grounds for almost all of us, yourself not included haha...I actually want to go on a nice drive that would end up being the whole meet up with you guys , just the idea of the caravan rolling to the meet up is pretty cool and actually doing it is fun.

I've exhausted all options in regards to a park location that doesn't have strict regulations. If we wish to execute on a venue like this, we'll have to kick the date into June or July.

As an alternative, I can contact a local business owner in PA. This is the Victory Brewing Company location. They have a large parking lot that we could use and then in the afternoon we can grab some food and drink inside their building. An option like this is the only type I can see working for the May 16th date we have currently agreed upon.

Let me know if this will work with you all and I will work on making the arrangements. If dates are flexible and most are free in June or July, I can work on trying to find a park location around those dates.

Please let me know quickly as I want to get something set.

Parkesburg or Downingtown? I'm guessing Downingtown.

Downingtown, yes. That's the one. This was recommended to me by a friend and business owner in the area.

Boy, that's a small town.

Sure would be great if we could all meet up somewhere else between noon and 2:00 for a (lighter than last year) picnic, then head out in caravan to Downington for the final meet & eat a few hours later. That would give people the option of both sides of the event to fit their schedules, as well as allow us to all drive together, which is always fun.

I'm in if the date works. Have some things planned throughout May/June. I'm in PA so pretty much anywhere in MD/PA/NJ/NY is cool with me

Yes I agree sounds pretty good, and a drive together would definitely be fun and something that we can't skip
