If driving a fair distance for this, then i'd just as soon wait for the better venue. But either way, i suppose.

 

Either way works for me. If you need help looking for a venue if we push it out let me know. I'm actually at a birthday party in a state park near me today and can try to find out availability. Lots of pavilions here.

Which state park are you attending? I think I've had conversations with about 10-15 state parks. Some have online reservations and some are first come first serve. All that were online reservation eligible, had been secured before the new year. There were a few other smaller regional parks however most had parking shortages or were in a non-suitable area for an event like we had last year.

Keep me posted. I can work on a new date if it comes down to that.

 

June/July will work best for me. Have some unexpected work related issues that came up and would not be able to make it for May.

 

Just found out I'll be on travel two weeks within June. Trying to work an earlier date will be tough and the later we go, it will be closer to July 4.

but I ll be in Jersey the week before and will probably be leaving Nebraska on the 17th to drive back east

 

Actually you're right about parking being an issue...the park I was at only had a few lots and all were shared by multiple pavilions.

 

Any of those dates, AFAIK.

 

I figured it would be an issue. We had a pretty large parking lot at the event Rochester put together last year. Most don't have that much space. As soon as I get a general idea on what date we will be going with, I'll find us a spot.
