Which shops do you guys go to get your car work on for OEM and aftermarket parts? I am looking for a shop that is reasonable in price and very careful in their work. I am near Silver Spring, Maryland. Looking for a shop to stick with.

Or I always use Hammad at EZ auto but it might be drive for you. Sterling VA but he has the best price and customer service and lots of Nation G club members come from South VA, VA, and MD.

what about paint? Can anyone recommend paint/body shops in the area and POC of person who does the best work? Need some pieces painted and don't want to take it to any Joe-Shmoe...

PS - I went by EZ Auto and was told Hammad doesn't work there anymore...bummer for me!

Hammad works out of Sunny's Automotive Group in Fredericksburg. Which is a hell of a drive but NGC members still go to him from all over.

For major paint I go to APAC. Smaller things, I've gone to New Again Auto Repair right here in Silver Spring and haven't been disappointed.

 

What pieces exactly?

 

Was gonna get bumpers and mirrors done. I got a new bumper for my Integra (DD) that also needs painting, so I figured I could use it as a Guinea pig. G was in for maintenance and just found out that there could be major issues, so bumpers/mirrors on hold. Hopefully not that major, but if so, it could be going out the door. Still need paint though for the Integra and also figured it can't hurt to know and have a good body/paint shop in the rolodex...

 

Also Fredericksburg is kinda a hike, but if he's that good, may be worth it. Maybe will try Hills Garage in MD.
