HAHA I dont care what you guys say but this is such great news for me that it definitely made my day and put a huge grin on my face.. so..

I left the car for service this morning for full synthetic oil change, windshield cowl popping noise and power steering noise (which couldn't be verified in the past by another dealership) and got a call recently from that lady and was told that they are found the power steering pump to be faulty which made me happy but what made me REALLY HAPPY is .. wait for it... wait...
They found a noise when putting it in 1st gear(then I admitted that synchros for 1st and 2nd must be bad) and they are replacing the tranny under warranty.. it honestly shocked me because I didn't even mention anything about it this morning (was going to next time) and yet they specifically took care and admitted themselves that there is something wrong with the tranny and will replace it under warranty which will all be done by Thursday F#÷% yeah!

Good to hear, which dealership in NJ did you go to have this all looked at?

I didn't know you had bad synchros...maybe you should learn to shift better so you don't mess them up so quickly. Just kidding.

I went to Circle Infiniti after that dealership being recommended to me by someone else in the past and reading all the reviews online at dealerrater.com

Nah I dont think it's me shifting poorly but the other way around, I noticed something wasn't right about 1st and 2nd looooong time ago soon after I got the car and whatever it is wrong with the tranny that might have been the reason why I had tough time shifting sometimes.

Good for you, Mike. That's easily $2K in parts and labor, if not more.

Driving a MT with a bad syncro just sucks. Always anticipating the crunch... yuck.

Thank You, I am so happy about that and also right in time before the meet, at first I told the lady if we could have the tranny done after the weekend because I have somewhere to attend to with my own personal car, well I told her a g37 meet bla bla, and she said "oh no it's fine, it will be done by Thursday afternoon" Also didn't have any problems with my aftermarket CBE or Intakes or anything as I was straight forward and just asked to let her know about those parts..

funny thing was right after I pulled up to the valet service area another moonlight white sedan (Autotragic though) with gunmetal M56S rims dropped pretty low and some other goodies pulled up looked pretty good too I think I'm just hyper because of such good news

I can't imagine you being hyper Mike! Glad Circle is taking good care of you, they always treated me well when I was in NJ. Wound up buying two cars from them.

Okay, I have two large bottles of ketchup, a couple different kinds of mustard and relish and several bottles of different types of BBQ sauce all local Memphis places. Anyone going to be looking for something different?

That's good news, Chris. Back up to 16 confirmed cars.

Bring cookies. Go buy a couple boxes of Oreos or something.

Looks like the list is pretty well covered.

I'll bring a cooler,
I didn't see burgers anywhere on there. So some burgers and buns?

I'm going to have to look at a map. If we are going to be going through Amish country some home made root beer may be in order. There are things I miss about PA and South NJ... Scrapple, home made root beer (or at least not mass produced) Lebanon bologna...

Funny you should mention that... I usually buy a pound or five of Taylor Ham when I visit. Makes me very popular with the NJ expat community at work!

It's amazing what we miss... Buttered rolls for breakfast even
