If you have ever been ripped off by a body shop read this

Sorry if I posted in wrong spot, got this in the mail today.
Took a little longer than I would have liked.
Justice sometimes is slow, but eventually it works.
Body shop did me dirty, now I get the last laugh.

They have 30 days to pay up, or they will be out of business.
What slime bags, they think the law don't apply to them.

Guess I will be ordering that new HKS TC after all.

This is for anyone, do not let these shops get off easy. If you have ever been ripped off by a body shop read this-image.jpg

Silly rabbits, DMV runs you.
Just like they issue licenses, glad this isn't against my business.

Just used nys dmv website used for vs33-vs35.
Just a quick run down.

They did horrible body work.
Had to sue them for destroying my paint job.
Then they ignore the court order.
So now dmv steps in & now just got the good news they went out of business per dmv.
In march of 2012.
Except I have the new name & license #
So, now the owner is personally liable.

Just felt I had to share, since I know I am not the only person who has dealt with a shady body shop/repair shop.

There are plenty of honest shops that do 1st rate work, this is not one of those.

It was an insurance claim.
5k estimate in damages, basically other than the new parts that he could produce a receipt for.
They basically gave me back the labor on all the paintwork.
Out of the 5k was a front fender/bumper/headlight.
Rest was all paint / labor.
Even if I don't get my $ this will **** them off for sure.

After the bad work insurance just bailed on you and made you deal with the issue personally?
Sorry for the questions, just trying to understand incase this ever happens to me. Thank you for sharing your results though.

Yes, because this was not a direct repair facility.
If it was, then insurance company would have probably not paid them till they at least corrected the work.

I don't go with direct repair shops because my experience was even worse than this.
The drf, usually cut corners used parts, fixing instead of replacing things like that.
To much a$$ kissing with the adjusters, I have seen kickbacks personally.
That's why I always pick my shop, I won't go into who recommended this horrible shop, but they are a vendor.
I will keep their name out of it, out of respect.
