Infiniti Dealer in MD Tried %#%@#^

I think this so funny, I walked in to drop off my car for last free service, and they wanted $450 for 15K service lol

I was like not!

Just thought I share, don't get taken by your dealer!

Ha! I never take mine to the dealer only if it's a free service issue. I lease so oil changes a tire rotation (twice) at JIFFY LUBE (19.99) and turn it back in before 30K....PLEASE!

Jiffy Lube makes me want to punch babies. I'd rather have one-armed monkeys working on my car than those jokers.

All the 15K service is is a glorified oil change, tire rotation, engine air filters and the cabin filter.
I do my own service. My car is driven mostly on the highway, so it has a lot less hours on the engine then a car that is driven mostly in city traffic.
Because of that my engine air filters still look like new, when I hold a light behind and look through them. So there was no need to change them.
I also factored in the short operating time I put on my vehicle to attain 15K miles, so I don't intend on changing the cabin filter until 25K.
I have a tire thread depth gauge and my tires are wearing evenly, so I didn't bother rotating them at the 15k time.

I did 15k myself, but had them do the 30k.

I'm slightly confused about your thread title. Did your experience at the dealership make you sleepy, or just a lot of employees there yawning?
