Yo Central Jerz... G Folk

I just got a Stillen Gen 2 Intake for my G37S
Never did an install like this before, looking for some guidance
or a shop I can stop by to get it done...

Hit me up with suggestions...

I have the Gen3, not Gen2...but you literally unscrew the MAF's, unbolt the stock boxes and bolt on the new piping and plug in the MAF's.

which part are you having trouble with?

 

Haha... Not even started yet... Got the instructs and have never done
any kind of car work other than oil/filter changes, tires and breaks.

So, was just lookin for a local G dude who has a shop or wouldn't mind
having a beer with me while I install mine... Just don't want to F it up... LOL

 

haha I totally understand that...don't let it intimidate you, just take your time and you'll be fine. It's fun learning your way around the G and doing stuff for the first time to it...

about you ? though, there are lots of good G duys around the NYC/NJ area, I'm sure one of them will be willing to help

 

Any NJ folks on here have a Performance shop???

I can probably install this Stillen Intake but would like to also
get Tint done as well... Perhaps somebody can suggest a good place
for that in Central NJ???

If you geta shop lemme know cause I'm looking for one as well, the one, Auto Images on RT 9 charges like $$$ I was like you smokin some crack bud? Almost 500 alone for installation and then 300-400 for the kit itself.. I was like your on crack bud!

 

Yeah... ya know, I understand you have to make a livin', but do ya have to make a killin'?? I thought for sure there'd be tuners with shops on this site.

 

my friend owns a shop in jersey city, i can prob get him to give a good deal

 

Precise location? Lookin for rims and tint/eibach pro-kit installation.

 

its just a mechanic shop he can intall the springs (no tint tho)

Thanks for info... After reviewing the instructs, I did the intake myself.
A friend of mine helped in my garage... Took us an hour.

Still would like to do Tint... There are a ton of shops local so i have
to check them out. Thanks all

 

Where in jersey u at? i have a friend that does tints. He comes to you if you have a garage or a place for him to do it.
