I've been really wanting to do something like paint or maybe even vinyl my car. More interested in the second since it wouldn't be permanent....anyone have any experience with that?

No experience with it, but it must be the weather. I got the vinyl bug too! A buddy of mine back home does it for a living. Most of the cost is gonna be for labor. It's pretty time consuming.

That is what I figured. I sent some emails to local businesses but no one has replied. I just really need to do something soon. The cheap nissan paint on my car is so dull and I have a few spots I also need touched up....I may just get a paint job.

HillsGarage is a great shop for doing Uprev Tunes. They're pretty knowledgeable, too!

A buddy of mine who has a TT 350z recommends them too. He took it up there for a second tune, and they got more HP out than the original shop.

Can't believe it's so many G37s in the area. At the building I work at there's at least 4 coupes and 2 sedans.

What's Up Fellas, I've had my G37xS for 6 months now, I've done some minor exterior work (Grille, Tint, Lights) but im ready to get serious under the hood, she's a dream stock, but I know the potential hat can be unlocked, Im the 757 / Norfolk area (Navy), so im not from here, need some much needed input on what simple tune mods you guys have done.

Welcome! You can start with high flow cats, intake, exhaust, and tune. That will likely put you close to or slightly over 300 hp. FI with a turbo or supercharger kit will cost quite a bit more, but will yield much larger gains.
I did the former, since at the time my car was a daily driver. Also Coilovers, sway bars, and a strut bar can help solidify the suspension.

Hey welcome. Like ^ said I've done basic N/A mods. I have a short air intake, Fast Intentions High Flow Resonated Cats and the Fast Intentions Cat Back exhaust. The site says those 2 combined get something 20 HP...IDK because I've never Dyno'd it. I do know that they say the CAT's are the most restrictive part on the vehicle. I've also heard that because the cars are very electrical you will need a tune to get the best out of those mods which I have not done yet and there aren't many places that do the most recommended one (UpRev). If you're looking to meet there is a FB page I follow and they meet anywhere between Va Beach to Williamsburg.
