Directions

For NJ, BX, Westchester, CT etc:

1. Take the Throgs Neck Bridge to Queens.
2. Take the Cross Island Parkway going South
3. Get off Exit 31W NORTHERN BLVD
4. Merge to the left lane and at the traffic light where you see a BP gas station on your right, make a LEFT which is SPRINGFIELD BLVD
5. Keep going straight on SPRINGFIELD BLVD past the LIE
6. Make a left on 76th AVE
7. Park is on the left.

From Eastern Long Island:

1. Take the Northern State Pkwy or LIE, but merge on to the LIE when you can.
2. Get off Exit 29 SPRINGFIELD BLVD and make a LEFT on SPRINGFIELD BLVD
3. Keep going straight until you see 76th AVE
4. Make a left on 76th AVE
5. Park is on your left

From Brooklyn:

1. Belt Parkway
2. Cross Island Parkway
3. Exit 30W, LIE
4. First Exit, 29, SPRINGFIELD BLVD
5. Left on SPRINGFIELD BLVD
6. Straight until you see 76th AVE, make a LEFT

Yes, guys, you are seeing this correctly. I am setting up a BBQ thread in the middle of f'ing February. I want to kick off the '09 season with a nice BBQ. We always have a great time at our BBQs and I will make sure that we secure a permit for this date. It will be a little chilly, so bundle up.

We did our last BBQ as Pot Luck for the Eisenhower meet, and I think that actually worked out really nicely. This means that everyone is responsible for contributing something to the meet. If a few of you want to pool together to bring some of the larger/more expensive items, that is completely fine. Also, please refrain from PM'ing me and asking to be put on the list and asking what to bring. Respond to this thread and I will add you. Look at the list and see what is missing and bring it. I will update the thread as the date comes closer so make sure you periodically check this thread. If anyone has any portable grilles, PLEASE bring them.

Please reply to this thread only if you plan on attending and indicate whether or not it will be tentative. Please indicate what you are going to bring.
