Oh i c, you're putting it on the windshield, I thought you meant suction cupping to bumper!
Hmmm, with my old car I had it sitting on the dash and one time I got pulled over for speeding and the cop was making a huge deal b/c it wasnt mounted on the front (didnt get a ticket cus I saidI had recently gotten the car and didn't have time to mount it). I'll have to lookup the law .... I don't have the best driving record in the last 2 years so I dont want to give any excuses for the LEOs to pull me over... : )

hey what do you use to edit GOpro videos? I have another camera that uses the same video file format and when I use windows movie maker it saves the files as windows media and ruins the quality.

 

I thought even if it is on the windshield you can still get pulled over?

 

I haven't gotten pulled over for no front plate on the G yet. But when I had the SRT I did get pulled over and the first thing he said is where is your front plate? Just gave me a warning but I did ask him the law on it. He said it needs to be secured to the front of the car. In the windshield is not good enough.

You still can. It just depends on the cop and how he feels. I've yet to get a ticket for a front plate because it's been suction cupped to the "front" (windshield) of the vehicle.
On my Z, I just took the plate off lol. We'll see how that goes.

Maryland transportation 13-411 states that:

(a) On a vehicle for which two registration plates are required, one plate shall be attached on the front and the other on the rear of the vehicle.

(c) At all times, each registration plate shall be:


(1) Maintained free from foreign materials, including registration plate covers as defined in § 13-411.1 of this subtitle, and in a condition to be clearly legible; and

(2) Securely fastened to the vehicle for which it is issued:
(i) In a horizontal position;
(ii) In a manner that prevents the plate from swinging; and
(iii) In a place and position to be clearly visible.


Suction cup it to the windshield and it'll be secure to the front of the car

 

good stuff to know. Looks like the suction cup trick might be the way around this. If I ever get a notice on the G thats what ill do. I think the front plate just never look right on the G.

so as some of you may know... i have access to the garage at the national harbour... so ive planned a meet for the NGC crew... its been a while since i have seen you guys and han ged around talling about Cars ha! you all have access to the bottom level of the garage with PLENTY of parking... (bottom level is the valet leveL)so that wouldnt be a problem... here is a link to the restaurant i have in mind.. all american restaurant! "Cadillac ranch"

great food... wings are on point and they have a mean bbq burger!

the parking garage is on the right handside of the ******* National Hotel by the pineapple water fountain... Gzilla and i had a meet there and some of you guys may know what garage im talking about... Dont worry about speed bumps for you lowriding dudes like pepper! haha the bottom level is the only level without Bumps

the date i have planned out is Sat the 13th of August At 12:00 pm...

the garage has lighting and is great for taking pictures....

sorry for the first meet i had intended to plan (ALTOH potluck Meet!) needed to do more reaserch yet will have that set up within the next months!

let me know how many of you guys can make this in order for me to make reservations on time for this event hopefully you guys can make it...
