i was hoping to have it around oct 17th, or ,23, or 24 maybe you guys can narrow it down from there, if oct is too soon let me know, i'll bump it to another time if not

You should narrow it down to one date before you sign people up. Post up a poll with the three dates and see which date has the most interest. THEN you can start a sign-up thread. Just a suggestion.
