Help identify coolant leak

Yesterday I noticed a small puddle of coolant and when I got under the car I found the leak but can’t identify if it’s coming from the hose or not. My assumption is yes but if anyone could help Identify the hose or if it’s something else. It sits near the passenger side catalytic converter

More than likely the heater hose connector is about to give up the ghost. Get it checked/ replaced NOW before it completely breaks and leaves you stranded.

Search the forum- there are tons of threads describing the issue and offering potential fixes.

thank you I appreciate it bro. I did further review and it seems to have been replaced already and probably already failing but I will be getting the silicone hose to replace it. If it doesn’t fix the leak do you have any other idea what it could be?

If the heater hose connector is failing the joints will be wet to the touch. Easy to check/ somewhat easy to replace just tight working quarters. If the connector needs to be replaced be sure it is a metal one. Dorman p/n: 56430 or equiv. ¾" straight, metal hose fitting will suffice.

THIS IS ONE THING YOU DO NOT WANT TO PROCRASTINATE ON. If it is the connector, it will break and likely at the worst time and place imaginable.

In the event the hose connector is not the issue then you will have to visually check all of the hoses and clamps for signs of leakage. The usual suspects are the throttle body hoses, the rear crossover pipe/ hoses, and, on some cars, the driver-side hoses/ connections.

This is just one of those items that require a hands-on approach.
