Z1 motorsports quality concerns — spark plugs

I drive a stock 2013 g37 journey and I’m looking to change my spark plugs that were due at 105k miles (I’m at 110k).

I ordered 6 spark plugs (Ngk I believe) for the vq37vhr and a 3/8 inch drive 14 mm magnetic spark plugs socket from z1 motorsports.

This was my fault, but I didn’t check reviews before buying, and after checking the reviews for z1 Motorsports on yelp and trust pilot, I’m having second thoughts. I read many reviews of z1 motorsports sending defective parts and I’m worried about the spark plugs that they are sending me.

I think my best bet is to return them without opening the packaging and buy the spark plugs from the Infiniti dealership and the socket from my local Home Depot, auto zone, or oreillys auto parts.

does anyone have any suggestions when shopping for engine parts like the spark plugs? Should I return them or am I fine?

Any help would be appreciated!

I have worked with them for years and they are very reputable. Instead of posting here, I would call them and work through the issue. Mistakes are made and counterfeiting is a science now. The Honda guy told me that OEM Honda air filters are a target for counterfeiting now. A stupid low cost filter. Odd.

The problem now is that Honda wants to scare you a little into buying their filter for a 50% markup.

Don’t know if OP ever got his issue sorted but I go to rock auto for a lot of my parts (my sparks plugs I change in my g) I just make sure to get a reputable brand. Saved myself some change too.

Second Rock Auto. Plugs cost a fortune through any dealership, regardless of OEM. DO NOT buy plugs or injectors on EBay or Amazon. Even air filters are being counterfeited. If the price is too good to be true...
