Question about auxiliary mode and button

This will seem like a dumb question and I know that you all have the answer..
after i turn off the car and am exiting the vehicle why do I still hear beeping. I know its in park and the lights are off.
is this wearing down my battery while the car is off ?
also, I am having trouble figuring out how to adjust the button that pushes to start the car. The one that has an auxiliary setting. From the owners manual it isn’t clear to me how exactly to switch that setting.
please can someone instruct me on this.
i would greatly appreciate your response

If we are talking about the same beeping, its just a Nissan thing. If you wait ~3 seconds after turning off the car before you open the door, it wont beep. If it is beeping while you are doing really cool G mods with power on (for some reason), then just press the door switch on the B pillar.

I am not following what you mean by adjusting the start button. What are you trying to make it do? If you are trying to just go to Aux, then press ithe button once with your foot off of the brake pedal.

Hope his helps.

If you have recently disconnected the battery, the car will beep every 10 seconds or so after you turn off the ignition. You need to power-cycle the roof (if it's a convertible) and the beeping should stop.

Not sure what you are trying to "adjust" for the ignition button or which setting you are trying to switch. Can you elaborate?
