Should I get my valve cover seals replaced?

So I went in for my fuel damper pinging apparently it's fine accoridng to the techs if it gets louder or a code comes up then I need to worry about it but every time they brought up my valve cover seals needs to be replaced on my 2013 g37 it's very soon apparently. When I got home after cooling off it seems like no biggie? Just a bunch of dirt build up but I decided to feel around underneath and such and I got warm wet type of grime..a mix of dirt, carbon deposits and oil?? It felt slimy and something rubbery was sticking out slightly maybe, there's no way to tell other than from feeling. Either way they kept telling me about it the past few times I went there I got some photos of what I got on my fingers. Should I be concerned? Only problem is I need to work some hours to pay for it yet my job isn't giving me jack 😩

HI! Got any pics of the valve covers? Is it just seepage, or are they dripping oil?

yes those should definitely be replaced. I had to have it done on mine as it started to leak similar to yours.

Replaced!

Hi again, I ended up getting them replaced due to losing some oil per change since my car started rpm dipping, now it does it like crazy but I replaced my pcv valves and the valve cover gaskets somewhere else with oem pieces, took a weekend but they did it! My car started rattling right below me and if it doesn't rattle the car dips like crazy on acceleration, I believe my cats have failed entirely the moment I tuned with z1 ecutek, at least I passed emissions this morning, getting them replaced with something else on Friday!

Why do you think it's your cats?
Z1's tunes aren't known to be the best, not bashing as I don't have any direct experience but a few members on here have reporting being unhappy with their tunes and service.

Do the Big 3 if you haven't already first:

Exclamation

Oh I've done that good sir, it didn't do **** except for the first few seconds it was fine then back to normal, I couldn't even do the relearn until my car came back from the dealership and they said it failed to do the idle air volume relearn then I could do all the relearns on my own. Anyway, my car dips like crazy when acceleration, doesn't matter now, but if it rattles it doesn't dip and the car feels like a lot of power has been restored, and other times the car just doesn't want to move..it feels..clogged..like a wall is blocking me from moving and I have to press harder for it to go and it rattles, a lot of power coems back. Again, if it doesn't rattle, it dips like mad.

also..the rattle only started immidately after I did the tune, I got immidate bad vibes all over me telling me don't do it, don't add the tune..then I did it, the rattle started and the bad feeling went away or whatever idk..z1 got my pulls, said everything was in spec, no knocking, pinging, timing is right ect
