Finally bought a G37 Sedan 6MT

Hi all. I've been on the site for a few years, mostly as a lurker, but finally found the G37 6MT sedan that I wanted. I've been looking for close to four years. It is a 2012 model in Vibrant Red. One owner, lady driven car, that spent its entire life in Florida.

I've been driving my '05 G35 Sedan 6MT for ten years now. Has 186K miles and still on the original clutch. I'm keeping that one, but this car will be a great upgrade. Looking forward to putting some fun miles on it.

The information on this site has been great!

Looks like it's in like-new condition.

Vibrant Red, with the front chin and rear spoiler... that chin isn't rare, but it's uncommon for sure.

Great find! How many miles on that 10 year old Sedan?

Hi Rochester. There are 98K miles on this one. My first task will be to find another key fob and get it programmed. The car only came with one (other was lost in a lake at an amusement park).
Hope you are still enjoying your white 2011!

So 10K miles per year. Not a lot, but probably enough to include winters. Then again, winters aren't that harsh in southern Ohio.

Single owner, unmolested and maintained... there's a whole lot of years ahead for that car. Again, nice find.

(psst. Gift yourself a RJM clutch pedal for xmas.)

Thanks! The car spent its entire life residing in Florida, so it's never been through a real winter. I'm keeping my G35, as it has been through winters in Ohio. It's still in decent shape, but I'll be doing my best to take care of the G37.

I've read and seen many posts on here about how people love the RJM pedal. The clutch was actually replaced in this car early last year, as the slave cylinder failed. I was surprised to see this car go about 77K miles before it failed, as I've seen many members see theirs fail before they even reach 20K.

Depends how it was driven mine has almost 80k miles and is on its original slave though I did get the RJM pedal which should extend it's life. Eventually I'll go with the CMAK kit.

Gratz on the new G, it's amazing to see the dashboard not in pieces must have been garage kept!

If you haven't yet I'd look into replacing that coolant union.do not touch it until your ready it will likely fall apart.
