Engine work

Hey guys. I own a 2008 g37s and I believe I have an issue with my left camshaft/both, or lifters/rods. I’m taking it apart myself and so far have just been winging it. I’m not a mechanic but I’m have enough knowledge, tools and experience to do it myself, just was wondering if there was somewhat of a guild or video anyone knows about that could help me along with the process. Any info or help would be much appreciated but please keep any negative comments to yourself, thanks everyone 😁

I know of an excellent guide, the factory shop manual
AND you can get them from here for FREE :https://www.nicoclub.com/infiniti-service-manuals
Happy wrenching!

Just curious as to what symptoms lead you to believe you have a issue w/ the cams/valvetrain?

knocking coming from top end, engine codes read: P0300 cylinder misfire

P0340 camshaft position sensor bank 1

P0335 crankshaft position sensor

P0345 camshaft position sensor bank 2

P0300 cylinder misfire

I can hear and feel that’s it’s coming from the cams, definitely from the left side. I have a video of the knocking/ noise
