New here

Hi everyone!
had my car for about a year but just never got around to check out this site. Decided to now since I like to know more of my car and the community and what they have to offer. I plan to tune it and hoping to get 310 whp if I can. I currently have a muffler delete and a k&n short ram intake. I’m about to get the full motordyne cat-back exhaust and Stillen gen 3 intakes soon. Once I’m done with that I’ll get a tune and hope for the best.

Welcome. You have done some research, so you just might obtain your goal. One caveat: dyno types can influence your final number. It's best to get base numbers from one operator, perform your mods then go back to that same operator for the final numbers. Because of these dyno differences, you can't use them for absolute power numbers, instead you use them to gauge mod improvements. A drag strip is a better gauge for absolute horsepower since trap speed is the reflective of actual horsepower. You can find a robust formula on the Webs that will calculate your true HP from trap speed and some weather data.

Thanks for the heads up. I just did a baseline and I’m at 282 whp and 235 torque. I’m trying to upload a picture and video

There is a subforum dedicated to dyno runs and tuning, please start a thread there in which to attach your dyno plot.

Hey man, I'm literally on the same page had my car for a year and now I'm just rolling with a muffler delete. Did you order your motordyne brand new or did you find one used? I'm iffy on pulling the trigger on a new one

Dont forget the test pipes. Motordyne art pipes are a great option
