From G35 6MT coupe to G37S Sedan

Hello all,

CubanDre here. 8 months ago I had my first kid and needed to upgrade. Ive had my '03 6MT coupe since January of 03. Finally had to let her go to upgrade to a sedan. Recently picked one up at an auction for 2k. She needs some work. But I am pretty excited. Here she is below. I plan on lurking quite a bit. Ive already found a wealth of information to help things get started so I do appreciate all of the posts that have helped me so far. Ive had her for 2 days now.

Thought it would be easy to edit the thread title. Typo for Sedan.

Fixed it for you

Do you know the extent of the damage? Is the damage isolated to the front? From a cosmetic standpoint, she doesn't appear to be too bad.

I've only done a quick disassembly. I'll know more after the weekend. On the first look it looks to be cosmetic. But auctions are always worse than they seem. I had predicted radiator, condenser, support and fan. But surprisingly they held up and I drove it home! The radiator/condenser is bent, as well as the radiator support. The Coolant tank has cracks at the top. There is a crack in the power steering cooling line so power steering was out. What I should have expected was the bumper support its in pretty bad shape. Inside could use an interior refresh and the trunk space looks like it was never used. There is a brake shudder, so I suspect alignment/bent tie rod

Planned mods are widebody, wheels and suspension. Maybe full bolt ons with a tune, headlight, fog and tail light mods (still researching these.) The recently updated Tesla screen looks intriguing as well. I would like the paddles to be more responsive, but I haven't driven it enough yet. Overall super happy with the purchase. I should have her up and running again in a week, maybe two because full time job. Thanks for the welcome and title fix!

Welcome to the site and congratulations on both new additions to your family!

Be careful with that Tesla screen- might be why the car rear ended someone in the first place.

Lots of luck to you.
