New to the Infiniti World

Hi All,

I'm new to the Infiniti world. I just bought 2010 Infiniti G37xS Sedan auto with about 88k miles on it, which it not bad at all. The car smells, feels, sounds & drives like new. It's been a week now, and I am LOVING IT. It has all the bells & whistles. This thing is fast, comparing the Corolla I had to trade in for this car

I am just needing your advice from experience, what the Do's & don'ts, and what should I watch out for in this car? I'd like to keep it drive like new, maybe in future when I have some extra money I MIGHT need or want to modify or make it even faster! but for now I'm keeping it as is. I also would like to know how can I update the GPS maps on it?

Thank you all for taking the time..

I look forward to hearing from you

Welcome! It’s a fun car. What’s your plan for it so far?

Thank you...

Yes it is really fun to drive car...

Honestly, I don't really know... Just using it normally, speeding up a little bit just to get used to it. I'm not planning to sell it anytime soon. So I might start modifying it a bit at time! Not really into this but I'm just learning

Congrats on the car! I would suggest to start with the k&n drop in filters, they are pretty cheap and i definitely feel a better throttle response from them!

Welcome to the Forums To Update your GPS your going need to purchase the DVD update pack which I believe is not cheap! And not worth the money unless you really plan on using the GPS which is awful.

Thank you Bostonreefer.

Yeah that's what I've been getting that the DVD is not really worth the money! I guess I will rely on my phone when I rally need the GPS.

Thanks for dropping by

Welcome to the forum!

I found that any questions I had about my car, I just searched it on the forum - always been answered to some extent. Enjoy your new G! The AWD sport is a great model (I’ve got the coupe variant); a great ride anywhere I go so long as there isn’t many holes. Be sure to look up what you can do with the key fob too. Helpful for me since my girlfriend drives it sometimes as well. You can set each key to a memory seat setting, and put the windows down. Pretty neat.

Thanks Billnard....

I honestly never thought I'd own an Infiniti, but the moment I test drove it I fell in love with it.

I've watched some youtube videos about key fob tricks.. Man it's awesome..

Thanks for dropping by...
