Stoptech Brakes

Hi,
Its time to replace my brake pads and rotors on my g. I finally chose to go with Stoptech. My first question is if these pads fit with the gray Infiniti sport calipers and will there be any additional parts to install with this kit. Thank you!

Welcome to the site~Yes those are the correct parts for your Sport Akebono calipers.

Also I'd get CRC caliper grease to apply to the pad backing plates, pins & sliders. And synthetic Dot 4 brake fluid, a quart will suffice if you haven't done a full brake flush in the last couple years.

^ thats more for the non sport caliper brakes u gotta do all that. sport brakes u jus change the pads pretty much no need to grease anything. except the side of the pads which is a small area. stop tech pad comes with shims , pins, and brackets already.

Yeah, there is less grease required for the fixed calipers but a little behind the pads and a bit on the pins works well, and if you have a couple other vehicles in your stable it's a good product to have

Thank you, If I take this to a mechanic will they do the CRC grease or I should tell them? I also bought Stoptech steel brake line to go with this set. Do you think is a good package for a G?

It is a good pkg. the Stoptech pads have good overall bite but will dust quite a bit, just get used to cleaning your wheels more often. Also be sure to bed-in the pads as per Stoptechs process here in the second paragraph titled "Bedding-in Street Performance Pads"

Stock Brake System Bed-in

As far as the grease, the shop should do that as standard procedure, but wouldn't hurt to ask.
